Citypress is a multi award-winning PR and communications agency. In this 12-month training placement in one of the agency’s Consumer, Business or Social Media teams, you will work on campaigns for some of the UK’s biggest brands, learning from some of the most experienced consultants in the industry.

Based in either the Manchester or London office, you will also have the opportunity to work with the Research, Analytics and specialist Content teams.

What you'll learn

  • Writing content for a range of channels, including editorial media, social media and company websites
  • Undertaking research using a variety of digital tools
  • Working within a team to support on the management of client work, including the creation of reports
  • Creating media lists and begin to contact journalists
  • Participate in creative sessions
  • Undertake a variety of training sessions

What we're looking for

  • Writing for a variety of channels
  • Understanding how the media operate
  • Research capability
  • Account administration
  • Three A-Cs at GCSE level (including English and Maths)

We'd also love to hear about the following

  • An interest in communication, current affairs, the news and media
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to articulate a considered point of view
  • Strong writing skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
