We are looking for someone to support the delivery of communication strategies for a range of world-class festivals including major outdoor festivals,&nbsp;musicians and&nbsp;ensembles,&nbsp;album campaigns,&nbsp;events and other cultural companies and venues&nbsp;as part of the Premier Scotland team. It is a role which requires&nbsp;press,&nbsp;PR&nbsp;and a level of digital&nbsp;knowledge and experience, and is for&nbsp;an initial period of 6 months with potential extension.&nbsp;The successful candidate will feel at home in our fast-paced and dynamic&nbsp;company&nbsp;with a reputation for a top-level client list, strong&nbsp;teamwork and excellent delivery for its clients. There will be opportunities to be directly involved in projects, attend performances and events and get on-the-job training.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Primary tasks and activities<ul><li>Devising, planning,&nbsp;running and reporting on small and mid-scale press; campaigns as&nbsp;allocated by the&nbsp;Associate Directors/Director and with their input</li><li>Working as part of a team on large campaigns</li><li>Building and&nbsp;maintaining relationships with media,&nbsp;clients and associates</li><li>Dealing with requests for images, footage, press information,&nbsp;interviews and press tickets</li><li>Conceiving and delivering media calls</li><li>Digital&nbsp;work&nbsp;on some campaigns&nbsp;working with Senior Digital Manager&nbsp;including&nbsp;creative planning,&nbsp;delivery and analysis</li><li>Live event support and attendance at events as&nbsp;required.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Knowledge, skills and experienceEssential<ul><li>Previous experience in a PR or communications role</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and in-person</li><li>A good understanding of the media and journalism landscape</li><li>A range of press contacts in news, lifestyle,&nbsp;arts and culture media</li><li>Has delivered small- to mid-level PR campaigns</li><li>Experience in&nbsp;planning,&nbsp;creating and publishing engaging and eye-catching social media content</li><li>A good knowledge of social media trends</li><li>Ability to prioritise workload</li><li>Confidence&nbsp;to brainstorm creative content ideas across PR&nbsp;and social media&nbsp;in response to client briefs</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work alone and as part of a team</li><li>An interest in the arts.</li></ul>Desirable<ul><li>Experience with video content capture and editing for Instagram reels, TikTok or YouTube Shorts</li><li>Familiarity with website CMS such as&nbsp;Wordpress or Squarespace</li><li>Experience using Facebook Meta Business Suite&nbsp;</li><li>Photo and video editing skills on Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar&nbsp;</li><li>Experience running digital advertising campaigns across social media platforms.&nbsp;</li></ul>Research shows how marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the qualifications.
