Salary: £28,938

Duration: 12 months fixed term contract (including probationary period)

Working hours: 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (OCP is equipped to offer flexible working hours to take account of individual circumstances and needs)

Location: Remote working however attendance is required at several in-person meetings each month in London

Start date: October 2024

Only Connect Partners (OCP) is a theatre ticketing company which provides services to major theatre brands such as SIX The Musical and Mischief. OCP strengthens customer-brand trust through exceptional people-focused service, low booking fees, and respect for customer privacy.

OCP are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the company as they grow. The main task will be to support the management team and Head of Operations. Additionally, OCP is heavily focused on customer service and the successful candidate will be expected to train and take part in certain customer support tasks.

The role would suit a person with the ability to work well remotely, who has good numeracy and organisational skills coupled with an interest in audience development and West End theatre.

 

Responsibilities

Support for managing director

  • Provide general support and assist in managing and updating the company’s development plan

Company admin

  • Make and manage room bookings for in-person Company Meet Days and meetings with partners
  • Keep Company information and records up-to-date, accurate and consistent in style
  • Helping with recruitment processes

Operational support

  • Provide general support to the Head of Operations
  • Assist the Operations Team in planning the shift rota
  • Train in and provide certain shift-based customer service tasks

Financial admin

  • Enter purchase invoices / other purchases into the Company's accounts system
  • Create sales invoices
  • Manage Operations Team expenses and receipt reconciliation
  • Other accountancy tasks depending on skill level and interest in training

 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, or directly relevant professional experience
  • Interest in West End theatre
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as you will be handling sensitive and confidential data
  • Numeracy and confidence in dealing with basic financial tasks
  • An eye for detail and a penchant for accuracy
  • Good command of written English
  • Basic bookkeeping skills or interest to learn them
  • Confidence working with technology and modern cloud platforms (direct experience of Microsoft 365; Zoho One and CRM; iOS; macOS; Xero and RotaCloud useful but not required)
  • Ability to work well remotely - including a reasonable remote-working environment that's accessible to you and digitally secure (noting that we provide a company-owned macOS device for your work; we also have an annual Working From Home budget employees can make use of following a probation period to improve their remote working space)
