
Brand manager, Children’s Group
Reporting to: Managing Director, Children’s Group
Location: 5th Floor, HYLO, 105 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8LZ
Working pattern: Hybrid - minimum of two days per week in the office; up to three days per week working from home

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Coordinate publishing and brand activity for licensed children's books, working with licensors, authors and publishing teams.

We have an exciting opportunity for a brand manager within the brand and licensing strand across Bonnier Books UK Children’s Group. This role will work across the Bonnier and Igloo businesses with licenses such as Disney and Ultimate Football Heroes. This is an opportunity for someone with brand management or marketing experience to work collaboratively with publishing, sales, product development, design and external partners to coordinate market-leading brand campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Pivotal point of contact between complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth running within the brand team and collaboration with licensors, authors and other partners.
- Creation of B2B material for key brand moments such as showcases.
- Working with partners on insight projects and metadata guidelines to drive sales.
- Manage year-round publishing schedule and creative campaigns alongside publishing, marketing and publicity colleagues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in brand management or marketing experience is essential
- Commercial publishing background preferred
- Experience and confidence to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders, balancing a range of priorities and objectives.
- Experience working with licenses including an understanding of brand guidelines, approval processes and timelines.
