Aki Schilz is the Director of TLC, the UK's longest-running editorial consultancy working with writers, agents and publishers. She is also the founder of the Rebecca Swift Foundation, a charity advancing the craft, creativity and wellbeing of women poets, and the #BookJobTransparency campaign. Aki has featured in the Bookseller 150, a list of the most influential figures in publishing, twice, and is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature for her services towards the advancement of literature and the creation of more inclusive creative cultures.

This event is aimed at people who are under-represented in the creative industries. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who identify as Black, Asian, or from other ethnically diverse backgrounds, or people of any ethnicity who belong to the following under-represented groups: disabled people, individuals with the characteristic of gender reassignment, individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, carers and asylum seekers.
