Influencer and partnerships executive
Reports to: Influencer and Advocacy Manager
Location: Remote, UK
Turn real-life stories of pets, house sitting and travel into engaging content, building relationships with creators and brand advocates.
At TrustedHousesitters, we connect a global community of pet lovers through a shared love of travel, pets, and authentic connection. For over a decade, our members have unlocked a world of house sitting, pet sitting, and authentic travel experiences.
We know that our community’s real-life stories are our most powerful marketing asset. We are seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Influencer & Partnerships Executive to build and nurture a thriving ecosystem of creators, house sitters, pet owners, and brand advocates. In this role, you will champion the everyday members who genuinely love our platform, bringing authentic stories of pet care and unique stays to the forefront of our brand strategy.
Role Overview
As the Influencer & Partnerships Executive, you will facilitate the end-to-end management of our user-generated content (UGC) ecosystem and creator programs. You will be responsible for sourcing authentic pet-and-travel content, nurturing organic sitters and owners into long-term brand advocates, and building the foundations of a community strategy that puts our members first.
You will report directly to the Influencer and Advocacy Manager while working closely with the Social Content Specialist, Paid Media Team and Brand to ensure member stories flow seamlessly into our marketing campaigns and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Creator community
- Identify and develop a pool of genuine brand advocates from within our existing customer base (pet owners and sitters), building long-term, high-trust relationships.
- Maintain a tiered framework spanning organic advocates, micro-creators, and paid creators to ensure an active, rolling talent pipeline.
- Support the Influencer and Advocacy Manager to launch engagement initiatives, creator programs, and local sitter/owner events that bring our global community together.
- Monitor community performance metrics, content trends, and audience narratives to inform cross-functional alignment.
Production management
- Proactively search, vet, recruit, and brief creators for specific campaign requirements across organic channels, paid ad funnels, and platform listing imagery.
- Manage high-volume outreach without losing the warm, personal touch that reflects our pet-loving community.
- Create compelling creative briefs for creators, balancing brand guidelines with authentic, relatable member storytelling (e.g., house tours, pet care routines, travel diaries).
- Monitor, curate, and request usage permissions for high-quality imagery directly from member listings (homes and pets), ensuring these authentic assets are collected and shared with marketing and product teams for multi-channel use.
Operations and logistics
- Assist the Influencer and Advocacy Manager with creator contracts, usage rights, licensing terms, and repost permissions.
- Oversee the digital asset management system for storing, organising, and distributing creator assets so they are easily accessible to paid media, product, email marketing, and web teams.
- Triage inbound creator inquiries, and oversee product/perk distribution for creator campaigns.
Integrations and feedback
- Work with the Head of Brand to ensure UGC is integrated strategically across the content calendar, email, and landing pages.
- Work directly with the paid marketing team to test, iterate, and boost high-performing UGC assets across digital channels.
- Track, interpret and learn from performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, conversion rate, asset quality) to continuously refine creator selection and briefs, and deliver regular reporting on creator impact.
- Support on cross-brand partnerships and co-marketing executions, when applicable.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in UGC management, influencer marketing, creator outreach, or social media management within a consumer-facing brand.
- Highly organised with experience managing multiple content creators, contracts, and asset libraries simultaneously without dropping details.
- A sharp taste level with an intuitive sense of what looks and feels authentic, high-quality, and on-brand for TrustedHousesitters.
- Solid understanding of digital asset licensing, creator usage rights, and copyright management across social/paid channels.
- You want to understand how and why things work (or why they don’t). You proactively seek out ways to improve performance, challenge assumptions and strive to take things to the next level.
- You’re always seeking to develop your skill set, both within your role and in adjacent areas. You stay up-to-date with recent trends, seeking to operate at the forefront of your field consistently as it evolves.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills - you know how to turn casual users into passionate, long-term brand advocates.
- You’re comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-moving environment that is constantly evolving.
- A genuine love for animals, travel, and building genuine human connections. You naturally think beyond follower counts to build true community.
Nice to Haves
- Hands-on experience with creator platforms (e.g., Duel, Dash Social or other creator management platforms) and social analytics tools.
- Experience working in a variety of business environments, particularly within fast paced start/scale-ups, marketing agencies, marketplaces, travel or pets.
- Experience with content creation, video editing or basic graphic design tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere, Canva) to quickly repurpose UGC assets for short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Comfortable being on camera.
