Reduced Listening is an award-winning independent production company based in Islington making acclaimed podcasts and radio for major broadcasters, streamers and cultural institutions, opening windows to new worlds for our audiences.

We are looking for a production assistant to join our production management team. The role is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the systems and processes which form the foundation of a successful audio and video production team, whilst gaining an understanding of the workings of the productions. We are committed to continuous improvement and growth, the role will include the opportunity to shadow members of the production team and attend recordings of dramas, documentaries and podcasts, providing support to the recording team, whilst gaining an understanding of the workings of the productions.


Responsibilities

Including but not limited to :

  • Office management and systems
  • Delivery of programmes to the BBC and other clients
  • Admin support to directors, production management and editorial teams
  • Bookkeeping basics
  • Working with producers to gather and input programme metadata and clearances
  • Sales and development administration
  • Company marketing activity, website maintenance and social media content creation
  • Organising company social activities
