
Production co-ordinator

Blueprint Pictures is looking for a Production Coordinator to join its busy Production Department.
Reporting directly to Blueprint’s Head of Film Production, Emma Mager and Head of Television Production, Gail McQuillan. The role will cover both film and television productions and will require candidates to work across multiple projects at various stages of production simultaneously. This role would suit someone at APOC or Production Secretary level looking to move in-house and experience the production process from development to post/delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Blueprint’s Heads of Production for Film & Television across all elements of Production and all stages of a project’s journey from initial development funding to delivery and distribution.
- Diary management; setting meetings, preparing relevant materials where necessary
- First point of contact for external production teams/crew
- Maintaining and implementing Blueprint’s production manual across our productions and ensuring delivery requirements are met per company and financier requirements
- Overseeing delivery of Albert for each project and ensuring certification
- Overseeing awards entry in collaboration with distributors, specifically ensuring the production meets BFI diversity standards by collecting and inputting the necessary data
- Tracking show progress, ingesting key documents and flagging any anomalies
- Travel & accommodation for show-related travel domestically and internationally as well as for external crews during early prep and post production
- VISA/COS for international crew where required
- Coordinating screenings; family & friends, cast & crew etc
- Asset management; ensuring assets are tracked, stored and shipped where required
- Creation and tracking of development budgets
- Creation of BTL talent lists and checking HOD availability with BTL agents
- General administrative duties: NDAs, watermarking & sharing scripts, expenses, maintaining crew database, updating the script log, filing of key production paperwork
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Awareness of film/tv production timelines and processes
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proactive with ability to multitask and work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident with Microsoft Excel, Google sheets and an aptitude for clear presentation of numerical data
- Minimum of 2 feature film or HETV credits
