Are you based in the North West and ready explore your creative career further? At this upcoming BBC event you will have the opportunity to connect and engage with teams from BBC Sport, News, Radio Manchester, Sounds and Bitesize.

Representing the North is an evening in Salford dedicated to exploring BBC careers in the North West and widening participation and representation across the creative industries. Designed for mid‑level professionals, the event offers an inside look at opportunities in production, sports and regional journalism, digital media, commissioning and more.

Guests will hear from BBC creatives, take part in thought‑provoking discussions and meet teams from departments based in Salford. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with members of our staff communities, recruiters and hiring managers. The event is a chance to network with fellow creatives, discover how the BBC works behind the scenes, and build meaningful connections with teams driving creative output in the North. The evening will include talks from BBC TV, News and Content representative and provide insight into our process and practices. There will be the opportunity to network alongside teams from across production, recruitment, local and news.

We are particularly interested in meeting people from demographics that are under-represented in our workforce for a diverse and engaging event.
