Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Location: 4 days in the office / 1 day working from home per week



The 10 Group is looking to hire a senior account executive to play a central role in its fast-paced, highly creative integrated marketing and communications agency in Marylebone, London.

The 10 Group is a fully integrated global marcomms agency that builds ambitious businesses and brands on an international scale. It creates brave, simple strategies using human empowered technology. It cuts through with digital-first activations that command attention in the news ticker and social feeds of our lives.

The role will see the candidate work across a number of accounts spanning energy, tech and business, and will require an interest in the business, technological and political landscape, as well as some contacts with journalists.


Responsibilities

  • Work alongside media executives and directors to deliver media relations including print, broadcast and digital results.
  • Develop press releases, opinion editorials, LinkedIn articles and posts – strong writing skills are a must!
  • Brainstorm ideas, media angles and news stories for proactive and reactive campaigns
  • Support on research, campaign planning, competitor analysis and media strategy development
  • Be in regular contact with journalists in the financial and business press
  • Manage multiple accounts and liaise with clients to deliver the highest quality outputs
  • Have an ability to work calmly under pressure in a close-knit team
  • Reporting on media coverage with clear indication of expectations for clients, as well as handling day to day client comms
  • Assist with client presentations and reviews


Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Managing multiple accounts and client requirements
  • Strong organisational skills are required
  • Media relations skills: strong media and journalist contacts with a track record of securing earned coverage to place spokespeople as commentators
  • Grasp of the media landscape and fast evolving news agenda
  • Client servicing experience, including daily comms and reporting
  • Strong internal and external reporting process
  • Excellent collaborator and enthusiast
