
Team assistant - television

Location: Hybrid working, with part time remote working and part time working at our head office on Bear Street, Leicester Square, London. The expectation is to be in the office three days per week. There will be evening and weekend within this department and lieu time is awarded in return.
Compensation: £24,300 per annum, paid via a tax-free training bursary, equivalent to £28,860
Duration: Up to 18 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full time, 37.5 hours a week with flexi-working based around core hours of 10am to 5.30pm. You may be required to be online earlier for client coverage, which you can then leave earlier.

We are looking for a bright, organised and culture-obsessed Team Assistant to join our Television team. This is an exciting entry-level role for someone passionate about television, and who is keen to build a long-term career in entertainment publicity. You’ll work across multiple productions and genres, supporting senior team members while gaining hands-on experience on fast-paced, high-profile campaigns.
Key activities
The role is largely admin based - the TV team's coverage expert, social media manager and general support. Working Across coverage for the team including, but not limited to, Gladiators, MasterChef, Apple TV, P&O Cruises and BAFTA.
- Checking media monitoring services, social media and other tools for breaking coverage, and providing internal and client-facing coverage updates
- Tracking coverage for key message traction, sentiment and reach
- Keeping up to date with new media opportunities for clients
- Circulating press breaks to clients and stakeholders
- Managing and updating press packs
- Ensuring contact databases and internal documents are kept accurate and up to date
- Supporting senior staff with media pitches
- Writing press-facing PR materials such as client biographies and campaign/podcast programme information
- Attending publicity commitments with clients
- Managing internal and client diaries as appropriate
- Creating and proofing client/talent publicity schedules
- Creating and proofing event documents including talent face sheets and staffing schedules
- Organising logistics such as travel for client publicity commitments, tracking bookings and costs
- Supporting the team on PR launch events, including screenings, junkets and red-carpet set-ups
- Taking a digital-first approach, proactively creating and posting social media content for company accounts
- Managing digital filing systems, including press clippings, photography and publicity materials
- Tracking awards nominations and industry announcements across the department
- General office administration and team support
