Closing date for applications: Friday 31 January 2025 at 23:59pmSalary: London Living Wage&nbsp;The Travel Media Awards Step Up scheme is an internship programme designed to drive diversity and inclusion in travel media for young people, by giving 18-30 year olds from under-represented backgrounds the opportunity to gain experience and mentorship in journalism, publishing and public relations.The scheme is offering FIVE successful candidates the chance to undertake invaluable work experience with 10 leading travel media companies, each undertaking a four-week placement with two partner companies. Successful candidates will each work with two of the below partner companies, which have been paired as follows:<ul><li><a href="https://aplmedia.co.uk/" target="_blank">APL Media&nbsp;</a>&amp; <a href="https://www.finnpartners.com/" target="_blank">FINN Partners</a></li><li><a href="https://www.ttgmedia.com/" target="_blank">TTG Media</a>&nbsp;&amp; <a href="https://www.intrepidtravel.com/uk" target="_blank">Intrepid Travel</a></li><li><a href="https://thesun.co.uk/" target="_blank">The Sun</a>&nbsp;&amp; <a href="https://www.virginatlantic.com/" target="_blank">Virgin Atlantic</a></li><li><a href="https://metro.co.uk/" target="_blank">Metro</a>&nbsp;&amp; <a href="https://www.easyjet.com/en/" target="_blank">easyJet holidays</a></li><li><a href="https://ink-global.com/" target="_blank">Ink Global</a>&nbsp;&amp; <a href="https://www.kuoni.co.uk/" target="_blank">Kuoni</a></li></ul>TMA Step Up interns will also receive a further six months of mentoring, as well as join us at this year’s Travel Media Awards in autumn 2025, with promising careers ahead of them in travel media, be that consumer, trade or PR. The Step Up programme is open to anyone aged 18-30 who can demonstrate a passion for travel media and identifies as coming from an underrepresented demographic, such as:<ul><li>Individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds</li><li>People with disabilities</li><li>Those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.</li></ul>Applicants must be UK residents and have the right to work.Please include in your application that you found this role through Creative Access.
