Events
General event logistics assistance in the production of the BAFTA Award ceremonies. albert (sustainability)
Gaining an insight into the exposure to working in film/TV production departments and the growth of being more environmentally sustainable. Undertake administrative tasks to support the Director of albert and wider project objectives, including diary management, writing minutes, and sending out briefing materials. Support in managining the albert inbox, directing correspondence to the relevant member of the team and liaising with production teams regarding their use of albert tools and resources. Carry out evidence-checking assessments for albert sustainable production certification.
 
Partnerships &amp; fundraising
Support the fundraising team in delivering the biennial BAFTA Fundraising Gala. This is BAFTA’s biggest fundraising event and raises vital funds for BAFTA’s year-round charitable initiatives and programmes. The internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience of BAFTA’s work and to learn how a large fundraising Gala is produced. You will support the fundraising team in day-to-day administrative duties for both the Gala and the team’s wider fundraising remit during this busy and exciting period.

<li>Provide day-to-day support for the Development Managers, Major Gifts, and the Senior Development Manager, Trusts and Foundations across their whole portfolio of tasks and activities relating to Trust fundraising and work with Major Donors </li>
<li>Source information (including budgets), and draft, format and design reports and proposals for Trust and Foundation and Major Donor supporters</li>
<li>Build case for support documents, including exhibition proposals and reports</li>
<li>Draft and prepare correspondence for donors and prospects, and briefing notes for events and meetings, liaising with staff across the Gallery at all levels, as well as senior volunteers</li>
<li>Build own portfolio of smaller Trusts and Foundations, with asks of £5 – 20k, in support of the National Gallery</li>
<li>Maintain an effective filing and retrieval system both electronically and hard copy. Record and update information on Tessitura, in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, and ensure that all data relating to donors and prospects is accurate and up to date</li>
<li>Assist at team cultivation and stewardship events</li>
<li>Undertake other administrative tasks as requested, to assist in meeting the objectives of the Trusts and Individual Giving team</li>

Knowledge, skills, experience
<ul>
<li>Proven ability to write high quality reports and proposals and disseminate large amounts of information</li>
<li>Demonstrable verbal and interpersonal skills – able to communicate with people of all levels both within the Gallery and outside (e.g., Trustees, senior volunteers, donors, prospects)</li>
<li>Evidence based examples of strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Demonstrable ability to multi-task effectively</li>
<li>Proven ability to work with Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems effectively</li>
