Facilities assistant & assistant to the senior leadership team
Salary/bursary: £23,000 per annum
Contract duration: 12 months
Location: Victoria House, London (office-based, five days per week)
Start date: early May

Bonnier Books have a brand-new opportunity for a facilities assistant to help ensure the smooth running of their central London office. This role will also support their senior leadership team with administration.
They are looking for a highly organised individual who is seeking a busy and varied role, with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of office management over the course of twelve months with Bonnier Books UK.
What you will learn
- Assist the facilities manager with day-to-day administrative tasks such as responding to general email enquiries, managing stationery orders, monitoring incoming and outgoing post and assisting with courier bookings
- Register and greet guests at Victoria House
- Expenses and purchase order filing
- Assist the facilities manager with organising and coordinating company events, including book fairs (and which would involve travel to Bologna and Frankfurt)
- Support with Health & Safety administration and arrange first aid and fire marshal training with third party providers, as directed
- Arrange building the passes for new hires
- Liaise with Bonnier Books UK’s building managers as required
- Support the senior leadership team with diary management, as required
- Book and manage meetings and room bookings, as required by the senior leadership team
- Be available to attend meetings to minute and record actions, as required by the senior leadership team
- Take responsibility for booking travel arrangements for the senior leadership team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a clear and thoughtful communication style

- A self-starter who is proactive and solutions-focused with the ability to prioritise
- Collaborative and a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
