Hours: 5 days – 40 hours a week Monday – Friday

Salary: £23,000- £25,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: based in Finsbury Park, you will be required to work from the Fane warehouse 5 days a week

We are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse manager to join the Fane team, to manage the space and stock in our ever-expanding distribution department. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical, communicative and will relish the independence this role offers. Your main duties as warehouse manager

  • Plan, manage and control the warehouse activities in order to maximise support for the Fane Online events, Fane bookstore and merchandise partnerships
  • Regularly keeping stock takes of all Fane products to ensure there is enough to fulfil all orders
  • Maintaining computerised administration and stock inventory
  • Effectively liaise with our third-party delivery service to plan collections from the warehouse to ensure all deliveries arrive with customers in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team on all customer queries about shipping, resolving issues quickly
  • Recruit and manage an effective team of freelancers when needed

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Experience of warehouse management, or similar
  • Demonstrable management experience
  • Keyboard skills and competent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a calm and efficient manner
  • Planning and organising skills, with the ability to implement change effectively
  • Good people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Entrepreneurial with the ability to think creatively about business development

Desirable

  • Experience of working and managing freelancers is a bonus but not essential
