Salary: £35,000+ (depending on experience)
Location: London
Work behind the scenes on award-winning film and TV campaigns, delivering content across cinema, broadcast, digital and social.
If you’re looking for a creative partner that actually listens to you and then hustles to overdeliver, welcome to Silk Factory. We’re a band of like-minded creatives in London, New York and LA who live for motion picture storytelling. It’s our jam and also, quite literally, our bread and butter. Our highly skilled strategists, producers, writers, editors and graphic designers craft compelling, award-winning marketing campaigns for the biggest brands in entertainment. Let us do the same for you.
We’re looking for a talented Online Editor to join our London team, working across award-winning film and television marketing campaigns. Working closely with Editors, Designers, Producers and our Senior Online Editors, you’ll play a key role in conforming, finishing, versioning and delivering content across theatrical, broadcast, digital and social platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical foundations who is looking to continue developing their skills in high-end finishing and post-production.

- Work alongside Senior Online Editors on colour-managed workflows, HDR finishing and high-end online projects.
- Assist with colour grading workflows and project preparation within DaVinci Resolve where appropriate.
- Prepare client review links, delivery packages and final exports to specification.
- Liaise closely with Producers, Editors and Designers throughout the finishing and delivery process.
- Maintain exceptional organisation and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.
- Identify technical issues during the finishing process and contribute to improving internal workflows.
- Support the maintenance and day-to-day upkeep of post-production hardware, software and finishing systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in post-production, ideally in an Online Editor, Assistant Online Editor or Finishing role.
- Confident using Avid Media Composer within a professional post-production workflow.

- A basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly After Effects) would be beneficial.
- An understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates and colour spaces.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn and develop.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working collaboratively with creative and production teams.
- A natural problem solver who enjoys finding technical solutions and improving workflows.
- Calm and dependable under pressure, with a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality work.
