
Thrive team: programmes coordinator

Location: Hybrid, to include two days per week in the office across two Creative Access sites in Camden and White City, London; and ad hoc early evening events with occasional weekend work

The role
As Programmes Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of Creative Access’ career development programmes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our Thrive team while gaining experience across a range of programmes, partnerships and initiatives, from entry-level support to senior-level career development, plus mentoring and employer training:
- Support the planning and delivery of our career programmes (Springboard and Thrive) for individuals from historically underrepresented groups, working closely with managers within the Thrive team
- To support the planning, development and delivery of new programmes, strategic partnerships and initiatives such as Launchpad via Discover Creative Careers and Impact: Board Leadership Programme via Reel Impact
- Provide key administrative help across the Thrive team as required, gaining experience across other programme areas including our mentoring programmes and employer training
- Work collaboratively with all team members across Creative Access to support and deliver the company’s key aims, objectives and projects to ensure a wholehearted approach to diversity, equity and inclusion
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who is organised, collaborative and keen to learn, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to work that makes a meaningful difference.
Key responsibilities
Programmes support
- Assist with the delivery of our entry-level and mid-career support programmes, Springboard and Thrive, which will include liaising with attendees for events and training, co-delivering online and in-person training sessions (e.g. greeting attendees, presenting slides, managing breakout rooms)
- Support the planning, development and delivery of new programmes, including Launchpad via Discover Creative Careers and Impact: Board Leadership Programme via Reel Impact
- Coordinate event venues and room bookings, catering and session materials; attend planning meetings and support programme impact tracking
Partnerships
- Contribute to strategic partnerships and initiatives, including research and bid writing; programme design and delivery; partner, contributor and attendee liaison; meeting and event logistics; co-delivery of online and in-person sessions; programme development; and impact tracking
- Utilise Salesforce, our CRM system, to log and manage activity; review applications for our programmes using an assessment criteria; track programme engagements and employer partnerships
- Represent Creative Access at career fairs and other events to promote our work to individuals interested in working in the creative economy
Marketing
- Attend regular planning meetings with the marketing team to ensure the brand message is strong and consistent across all events and platforms
- Produce regular newsletters to promote activities to the Creative Access community
Team support
- Carry out tasks on an ad hoc basis to support managers within the Thrive team
- Carry out administrative tasks to support the wider company and attend regular team meetings
Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential
- Demonstrable ability to work across multiple programmes whilst ensuring high standards and quality of experience
- Highly organised, flexible and proactive, with the ability to work across multiple priorities, meet deadlines and achieve project objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and independently
- Ability to utilise digital platforms to schedule activity, interactive events and create content (CRM systems, Zoom, Canva and Mailchimp)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Hardworking, detail orientated and a strong team player
- A genuine interest in diversity, equity and inclusion and in the creative industries
- An appetite for learning on the job and developing your skills set towards the needs of the organisation
Desirable
- Familiarity with CRM systems and associated digital platforms (Salesforce, Form Assembly)
- Experience of facilitation, designing and delivering programmes
