We are looking for a stop frame trainee assistant animator to join one of our productions at our Aztec West studio in Bristol. 
We are looking for applicants who are keen to develop their stop frame animation skills and want to learn how to animate with clay to a professional level. Some evidence of animating/sculpting with clay would be an advantage but this isn’t essential.
 
What you will learn
<ul>
<li>To keep the Animators supplied with the required clay puppet components</li>
<li>Learn to clean, prepare and test puppet mouths, arms etc. ready for shooting</li>
<li>Work to improve sculpting skills under the supervision of more senior Assistant Animators to become competent at sculpting a variety of characters to the required level for shooting</li>
<li>Learn how to check the schedule board in order to prepare for upcoming shots and ensuring any required elements / tests are completed / ready in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Animate animation tests or blocks as required by production/ schedule to develop animation skills</li>
<li>Learn how to maintain clear communication with both the Production Department, Animators, Modelmaking, Rigging and Art Department and be aware of how the studio floor operates</li>
<li>Learn how to prepare models for and assist in the shoot stills</li>
<li>Develop their skills so that they can fulfil the Assistant Animator role without the need for supervision</li>
<li>To observe the Health and Safety at Work Act</li>

Forces News covers a huge range of sports played by the British military, many of them playing at elite level. We’re looking for a trainee VJ to join the sport team on a paid six month contract. You will have some experience of video journalism (through your university or college course) that will enable you to work in our multimedia news operation.
Forces News (part of British Forces Broadcasting Service) delivers quality and engaging coverage of defence news that is broadcast on radio, digital channels and social media. You don’t need any experience of defence news and sport to apply, just a willingness to learn. Our HQ is just outside London but the sport team is rarely to be found there. They spend their time across the country on live broadcasts, doing interviews and reports.

How would you like to work in the engine room of the world’s most established continuing drama? 
Emmerdale are looking for a storyliner to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will need to have a keen passion for continuing drama, a flair for creative writing and love working in a team.
We are looking for a motivated storyliner to generate story ideas and produce robust storylines to deadlines. Working predominantly remotely, you will talk through storylines, attend story conferences, generate ideas and write and edit storylines.
