Salary: £28,119 per annumTerm: Fixed-term for 18 monthsHours: This is a full-time role but we will consider candidates who would prefer a job share.&nbsp;Location: St Pancras with some occasional work outside of standard working hours &nbsp;The British Library's International Team is seeking an International Skills Exchange and Governance Coordinator to support our international skills exchange projects and coordinate the day-to-day activities relating to the governance of the international office strategy.&nbsp;Over the past 8 years, the British Library’s International Office has worked with partners around the world to advance knowledge and mutual understanding in a spirit of mutually beneficial reciprocity. This work includes multiple collaborations, projects and relationships to deliver skills and knowledge exchanges with international partners. You will coordinate a number of annual special events with international networks, such as seminars, webinars and conferences.&nbsp;You will also provide high quality administrative and co-ordination services for the International Strategy group and regional programme boards, and manage all organisation and correspondence in relation to these.&nbsp;You will report to the Head of the International Office and will be part of a small team of people who are passionate about international relationships and cultural heritage, and who can develop and implement impactful international projects.&nbsp;So, if you want to make a meaningful impact, creating skills and knowledge exchanges that support libraries and archives across the world, we want to hear from you!&nbsp; &nbsp;About you&nbsp;We are looking for a proactive, highly organised candidate, with diplomatic skills. Crucial to this role will be your ability to connect with people, to think on your feet and to work with a variety of people both internally at the British Library and with international partners.&nbsp;Organisation will come naturally to you and you will be adept at juggling multiple projects. You will also have good experience in minute-and note taking, as well as writing well-structured documentation, such as briefing papers.&nbsp;We are particularly keen to hear from people with a good experience of communicating across different cultures and good understanding of diversity.
