About the role
We are recruiting for a lead for one of our key partner relationships. You will be their first point of contact, working tirelessly to ensure we are both fulfilling their objectives whilst advancing our own mission. You will be part account manager, part project manager, part creative, part chief of staff, part event organizer and part director of traffic! You will work directly to one of our co-founders, and a secondary part of your role will be to ensure their time and effort are focused in the best possible way. This will necessitate you being in all the relevant meetings and conversations and developing project plans and list of actions that ensure the work streams stay on track. 
You will have both a lively interest in global politics and be tapped into the hottest cultural trends and current zeitgeist. A good understanding of the Global Goals, and the issues that are contained within them will be vital for this role.
 
Working with one of our most important partners, you will be expected to co-ordinate creative solutions for their challenges and work out how best to align their objectives with the Global Goals, pulling on the expertise and creativity of the wider team. You will be the intermediary between the client and the wider team – capturing next steps and feedback and ensuring that concrete plans are made on how to deliver. This is not about managing a client, its about properly developing a partnership. 
As a small, fast-moving organisation, elements of your role are likely to move into delivery – as well as strategic planning. This could range from organising a high level dinner on the fringes of a global event, through to working with our social and digital team to produce campaign assets. 
It is essential that you are a master of dealing with stakeholders and the competing demands that this can bring.  You must be able to write a brilliant brief or presentation, whether to bring to life new concepts, or report back on existing projects.  It goes without saying that you will need the ability to juggle several balls whilst always ensuring the Global Goals narrative shows up in the best possible way. There will be stressful moments, so you will be someone who is adept at dealing with pressure, and be resilient enough to move on positively from setbacks.

MIF invites artists from across the globe to create extraordinary new work for the Festival, which is staged every two years at venues and found spaces across Manchester. As a freelance production manager you will work with the show specific producer and MIF’s technical team to deliver the technical aspects of commissions on a variety of scales in conventional and found spaces. This will include:

Join us! We're looking for a freelance engagement manager to assist with the planning, organisation and delivery of a mass participation project leading towards the opening of The Factory.
Manchester International Festival (MIF) invites artists from across the globe to create extraordinary new work for the Festival, which is staged every two years at venues and found spaces across Manchester. The Factory is our new permanent home opening in 2023, a world-class cultural space being built in the heart of the city, where we’ll present a year-round programme and artists will be able to develop work of huge ambition and scale that they might not be able to anywhere else.
This project involves working with expectant families, as well as early years and health care providers. We’re looking for a part-time freelancer to take on the engagement manager role to support the creative engagement team. This person will help MIF design and fundraise for the project and establish necessary partnerships and recruitment strategies for participants for the project. They will also lead a number of engagement coordinators involved in the recruitment of participants and any budgets associated with this.
The project team will need to be available around the Christmas and New Year holidays 2022/23. All project team must be available from 1 to 31 January 2023.
 
As a freelance engagement manager you will work with the creative engagement team to:
<ul>
<li>Lead on the engagement and participation strategy for the project, including developing ideas for participation, participant recruitment, budget forecasting, contracting, training and delivery of activity</li>
<li>Lead on relationship building with participants, ensuring MIF develops meaningful and sustained relationships with people who get involved</li>
<li>Manage budgets and other resources related to the project’s participatory and engagement activity</li>
<li>Work closely with the head of engagement, producers and MIF’s development team to secure additional resource for participatory programmes</li>

We are looking for applicants who are keen to develop their stop frame animation skills and want to learn how to animate with clay to a professional level. Some evidence of animating/sculpting with clay would be an advantage but this isn’t essential.

4Studio is based in C4’s new National HQ in Leeds and is a key component of C4’s regional strategy, creating creative job opportunities outside London and expanding the diversity of the company’s creative contribution.
 
Job purpose
Channel 4 is a world class entertainment brand. The Social team within 4Studio is responsible for further building our world class social media presence. Part of this is a project to release more and more longform programming onto our YouTube portfolio. 
We are looking for an industry-leading channel manager to help us achieve our objective; this person will be responsible for publishing our longform content to different accounts within our YouTube portfolio. 
The channel manager will be responsible for building publishing calendars to syndicate a wide array of content across multiple YouTube accounts, approving and scripting social copy and owning the tone of voice for the accounts, as well as ensuring all content is optimised fully to reach the right audiences, with the right metadata and keywords to ensure distribution is maximised. In addition they will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to report on performance.
They will work closely with 4Studio’s Strategists and Designers, (who’ll be making the thumbnails), as well as linear teams to ensure we receive the content in a timely fashion, and analytic roles to assess trends, analyse engagement, help inform publishing strategies and ensure our content reaches the widest possible audience.

Content publishing &amp; channel management

<li>You will be responsible for publishing and scheduling all content across all YouTube (YT) accounts for long form assets. This will include optimised metadata, copy and some channel management across accounts</li>
<li>You will need to be able to understand the different brand purposes, tones and behaviours across the Channel 4 portfolio, including the different shows</li>
<li>You will be familiar with the YT CMS, and skilled with using spreadsheets to help track and monitor scheduling activity</li>

The recently-created 4Studio is the engine room for C4’s digital acceleration strategy, with the mission to create, adapt and distribute brilliant content across the key social media channels. We work very closely with key people and departments within C4 to make this a success.
4Studio is based in C4’s new National HQ in Leeds and is a key component of C4’s regional strategy, creating creative job opportunities outside London and expanding the diversity of the company’s creative contribution.
 
Job purpose
Channel 4 is a world class entertainment brand. The Social team within 4Studio is responsible for further building our world class social media presence. Part of this is a project to release more and more longform programming onto our YouTube (YT) portfolio. 
We are looking for an assistant channel manager to help us achieve our objective; this person will support our YouTube channel manager, publishing our longform content to different accounts within our YouTube portfolio. 
The assistant channel manager will build publishing calendars to syndicate a wide array of content across multiple YouTube accounts, crafting social copy, obtaining all relevant sign offs and -crucially -  ensuring all content is optimised fully to reach the right audiences, with the right metadata and keywords to ensure distribution is maximised. In addition they will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to report on performance.
They will work closely with 4Studio’s Strategists and Designers, (who’ll be making the thumbnails), as well as linear teams to ensure we receive the content in a timely fashion, and analytic roles to assess trends, analyse engagement, help inform publishing strategies and ensure our content reaches the widest possible audience.
 
Key responsibilities
Content publishing &amp; channel management
<ul>
<li>You will support the Channel Manager in publishing and scheduling all content across all YouTube accounts for long form assets. This will include optimised metadata, copy and some channel management across accounts.</li>
<li>You will be familiar with the YT content management system (CMS), and skilled with using spreadsheets to help track and monitor scheduling activity</li>
<li>You’ll be interested in social media trends and adept at using content discovery and social media monitoring tools to assess the landscape in real time and ensure our accounts are timely and engaging</li>
<li>You will understand how the different platform algorithms can impact performance, and know how to optimise content in the best possible way to extend reach and engagement</li>

Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) Young Artists is a new programme of training and support for pop musicians aged 11-18 from across the North West. You could become the first head of the programme!
Launching in September 2022, the new Saturday school will provide young people with life-changing opportunities to explore their talent and achieve their potential, while making music training from the very best tutors, mentors, and artists, accessible to all.
Designed and delivered by the College’s world-renowned Popular Music Department, RNCM Young Artists will offer year-round weekly sessions focused on composition, production, and performance, led by the faculty and student mentors.
With full access to the fully equipped, state-of-the-art recording and producing studios situated in the College’s central Manchester campus, RNCM Young Artists will work in bands, creating, recording, and distributing original music and sharing their work in showcases at the College and in professional venues in Manchester. 
The RNCM is determined to reach and support young people from all backgrounds and will work with partners in local communities to grow a diverse and creative community of musicians, with financial support in place where needed.
