The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Digital and Audiences but work closely with cross-functional team members and external agencies. This role will require the ability to be strategic, from vision to execution. The role is part of a growing team responsible for the gallery's diversifying web and e-commerce platforms. It will be pivotal in redefining the client experience across our digital channels and developing and executing a digital strategy for customer acquisition, retention and segmentation across paid channels. Responsibilities Paid channels<ul><li>Implement and oversee the management of SEM, SEO, paid social and performance display advertising channels with an emphasis on channel performance.</li><li>Managing tactical aspects of digital marketing programs, including designing tests, outlining key targets, prospecting groups, and setting goals with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations to drive optimisation of paid marketing channels.</li><li>Proactively identify new digital marketing activations and technology/platforms to help drive brand awareness, sales and customer acquisition and oversee ad-hoc projects as needed.</li><li>Briefing in and approving artwork and concepts for marketing campaigns/ads with relevant teams (Design / Artist Liaison / Communications)</li><li>Assist in developing and executing digital channel testing that includes ad copy, landing page optimisation and various targeting options to increase conversions.  </li></ul>Email and website<ul><li>Oversee management of email program and strategy, including any client segmentation and re-marketing campaigns.</li><li>Work with the Communications and Digital team in the building and approval of email campaigns.</li><li>In partnership with Communications, Sales and Publications teams, determine optimal email calendar, as well as segmented, retargeting and triggered email campaigns.</li><li>Manage data-driven aspects of end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and targeting, set-up, deployment, reporting, and ongoing testing and optimisation.</li><li>Oversee tracking and reporting of key email metrics such as Open Rate, CTR, and Unsubscribes by various segments, establishing benchmarks for each.</li><li>Develop close working partnerships with Email Service Provider and in-house Technology and Creative teams to help lead progress on departmental goals for email optimisation, including HTML template enhancements, mobile optimisation, data-driven personalisation.</li><li>Manage landing page strategy and testing with an eye on ROI tied to lead generation and engagement.  </li><li>Budgeting and reporting Prep for Monthly and Quarterly Business Review with Digital leads, clearly presenting results and KPIs.</li><li>Strategize, manage and forecast marketing budget for efficiency across different channels, including branding and acquisition efforts.</li><li>Set goals for channel performance, track performance against goals and report performance to senior leadership, staying cognisant of ROI.</li><li>Manage vendor strategy, implementation and reporting of campaigns.</li><li>Initiative and develop A/B testing ideas to improve conversion and other key KPIs.</li><li>Conduct regular analysis of digital marketing activities on the art industry's leading players and/or business trends in different markets.  </li></ul>Knowledge, skills, experience<ul><li>Solid experience in customer acquisition marketing is required. Experience at a globaland/or e-commerce brand is strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience in email marketing, including strategy, implementation, segmentation, automation, analytics and reporting.</li><li>Ability to understand analytics data, build reports and summarise in meaningful ways for the goals of the business.</li><li>Previous management or leadership experience, including project management, people management and driving progress in a cross-functional project team.</li><li>Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and ability to quickly learn technical systems and in-house tools.</li><li>Acute attention to detail and proofreading skills.  </li></ul>Technical skills<ul><li>Advanced proficiency in 3rd party software platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, Web analytics reporting tools like Google Analytics.</li><li>Google AdWords and Facebook Ads Certification (desirable)</li><li>Website CMS (essential)</li><li>Experience using MailChimp or other email marketing platforms (essential)</li><li>Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (essential)</li><li>Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop (essential), InDesign (desirable), Premier (desirable)</li><li>Salesforce (desirable)</li></ul> We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
