Entry-level opportunities

Are you someone who loves nothing more than a visit to a museum, gallery or library? We understand that everyone is at a different stage in their journey, and share a wide range of career opportunities to reflect this. If you are planning to launch your creative career, look out for internships and traineeships, as well as entry-level roles. Job titles might include gallery assistant, front of house assistant, or apprentice librarian.

Mid-level jobs

If you have already landed a job in the field or have some other relevant experience, we encourage you to explore our junior or mid-level roles. Examples of roles that require a proven track record in the cultural heritage industry could be curator, head of development, archive manager, or conservator.

Which organisations post their roles to this page?

In our 10+ years of progressing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging within the arts sector, we have developed partnerships with galleries like Tate, Kettle’s Yard, and White Cube as well as museums such as Museum of London, Science Museum Group and the Design Museum.

How can Creative Access help me find my first internship or next job?

As a social enterprise, Creative Access provides opportunities for individuals from communities under-represented in the creative industries. This includes, but is not limited to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates, disabled people, those undergoing gender reassignment / transitioning and individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Look out for our Positive Action Schemes open to these groups, which can be recognised by three colourful dots under a company logo.
