Senior compositor – Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget
Salary: depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

The studio behind Wallace & Gromit are looking for an experienced Nuke Compositor to join an existing team on this high-profile feature production.
The role will involve working closely with our VFX Supervisor and VFX On-Set Supervisor. You will be creating slap comps of blocks and line-ups to check camera angles, lenses and lighting across multiple scales to help inform the approach on the studio floor. You will need an understanding of CG specific VFX such as when to call out HDRs and set scans and will be compositing slap comps of playblast animation.
Knowledge, skills, experience
- We’re looking for a friendly, confident and meticulous person with extensive experience in Nuke as well as an understanding of the stop-frame animation process
- Experience of camera tracking and PF Track in particular, would be a bonus
- You will be a strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and proactive approach to your work
- Ideally you would have experience of working on stop motion sets advising on VFX elements such as green screen, rig placement and lighting states and will regularly attend set when the On-Set Supervisor is unavailable
- The right person will be asked to take responsibility for their own sets/units
