Whether you’re starting out in the creative industries, looking to step up the career ladder, or curious about the future of the sector, you don’t want to miss our final event of 2023 presented in partnership with Dow Jones, HarperCollins and News UK. Join us for an evening with two back-to-back panels, discussing everything from what the future of the creative industries looks like, to the latest trends in journalism and publishing, and helpful career advice.

We’re partnering up with three of the most prominent news & publishing companies in the UK for an evening showcasing the breadth of opportunity on offer in these sectors. Hear from two back-to-back panels featuring industry experts in journalism and publishing; one made up of senior leaders discussing the future of the creative industries, and one of inspiring professionals offering advice for starting your career.

In true Creative Access fashion, there will be plenty of opportunity to network with like-minded peers afterwards over refreshments, as well as staff from Dow Jones, HarperCollins and News UK (owner of The Times, The Sun, talkSPORT and more).

First panel: ‘The future of the creative industries’, 18:10-18:40

Curious about the changing landscape of digital media, journalism, and publishing? We’ll be taking a deep dive into this with our panellists who are senior leaders in these industries and navigating topics like AI, diversity and the latest trends every day in their roles.

  • Shruti Tripathi Chopra, Editor in Chief at Financial News & Private Equity News
  • Ken Wilson-Max, Publisher at HarperCollins Children’s Books
  • Josie Dobrin (chair), Co-Founder & Executive Chair at Creative Access

Second panel: ‘Starting your career in the creative industries’, 18:50-19:20
