'Discover with' is a new webinar series from Creative Access, designed to help young people aged 16–24 better understand the creative industries and the many pathways into them.

Each session will feature employers and industry professionals sharing insight into different roles, routes into the sector, useful skills and experience, and opportunities for progression. Speakers may also highlight current vacancies, training programmes and other opportunities where relevant.

Whether you're considering your next steps, exploring different career options or looking to break into the creative industries, these sessions are designed to help you better understand the opportunities available and hear directly from the people working within them.

About the speakers:

Honey Ferdinand (she/her) - A Woman of many talents’, Honey Ferdinand does everything music, fashion and events. With an unnerving motivation and drive, her list of skills and experiences are ever growing and she continues to build on her vast portfolio. With over 10+ years of international event experience, a love for artist development and talent management and creative direction, her work is an authentic creative outlet and the continuous quality reflects that.

Breyner BaptistaBreyner is the Director of Innovation & Culture at music marketing agency Blackstar. His career spans A&R, songwriting, producing and artist work, as well as music and fashion marketing. He has previously worked with Blackstar and Billionaire Boys Club, and has worked with artists including Jessie Ware, Bakar, Ryan Ashley and the Paul Institute.

Jacob Rickard (he/him) - Founder & Director, lemontank. Jacob Rickard is a creative consultant and project manager with a specialism in young audiences. He was a BBC Radio 1 producer for 12 years, playing a key role in music strategy as a member of the mainstream playlist team, and led the Christmas Presenters talent development project. After leaving the BBC in 2022 he founded lemontank, the young writers’ room for fresh ideas, which brings together an international pool of Gen Z freelance creatives to provide insights and ideas for campaigns across media, music and entertainment. lemontank’s mission is to value young voices and help new talent find routes into creative work. Working with label clients across Universal, Sony, Warner & BMG, lemontank has helped bring Gen Z audience insight and fresh thinking to campaigns from global stars including The Beatles, Dua Lipa and Madonna along with rising stars like Skye Newman, Myles Smith and Chloe Qisha. Outside music, lemontank’s clients have included Diageo, the Olympic Games, a United Nations project and the National Trust.

  • Click 'apply' to register your interest in attending the next session. You will be asked to upload a CV or Cover Letter, but please feel free to upload a blank document as these are not required for the sessions
