In Documentaries, we want to make programmes that create headlines, reveal and challenge. We are a broad church, commissioning more than 300 hours a year, from 24 Hours in Police Custody and First Dates, to Jeremy Kyle Show: Death on Daytime, Barrymore: The Body in the Pool, and Crime and Punishment. Job purpose
To oversee and editorially manage the department's programmes and to commission documentaries. The role involves working creatively with independent production companies and liaising internally with many departments.
 
Key responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work with the Head of Documentaries to ensure the delivery of their strategy</li>
<li>To originate, develop and commission innovative new programmes on time and on budget</li>
<li>To generate ideas and identify fresh territories and themes for exploration</li>
<li>To initiate and manage positive, creative relationships with a wide range of indies to ensure  a steady supply of groundbreaking ideas</li>
<li>To identify and nurture new on and off-screen talent, from a variety of perspectives and backgrounds</li>
<li>Commission programmes for our First Cut strand (our award-winning strand for new directors)</li>

Essential experience &amp; skills
Technical &amp; professional skills
<ul>
<li>Must have worked at a minimum series producer level, making or commissioning factual shows which demonstrate a Channel 4/E4 Factual sensibility</li>
<li>Strong experience of financial, legal and compliance issues around television production</li>
<li>Good understanding of budgets for television programme and the commissioning process</li>
<li>Will be required to demonstrate a high degree of editorial judgement in the execution of programmes, exceptional personal integrity and insight into the Channel 4 brand and values</li>

<li>Oversee the process of producing a programme after it is commissioned, working with the producer/director in the edit at the commissioned independent production company</li>
<li>Determine budgets for projects alongside Commercial Affairs with overall responsibility resting with Commissioning Head</li>

<li>Conduct and maintain good relationships with independents production companies producing programmes for the Channel. Networking is a significant part of the role.</li>
<li>Keep abreast of all new talent in the genre and stay one step ahead of immediate competitors</li>
<li>Required to handle conflicting viewpoints and gain consensus for the Channel during the editorial process of commissioned programmes with independent production companies</li>

London Symphony Orchestra is seeking a passionate and highly capable comms expert. 
The Senior Digital Communications Manager leads on the strategy for the LSO’s audience-facing digital communications, including the website, social media and other digital platforms. They collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to communicate the full breadth of the LSO’s work, grow audiences around the world and deepen engagement with the Orchestra.

About the role:

Responsibilities
Strategic direction, artistic vision, and planning
<ul>
<li>Devise, implement and oversee the orchestra’s artistic strategy and vision in collaboration with the CEO, Music Director, musicians and Artistic Partners.</li>
<li>Establish, lead, coordinate and evaluate a diverse group of artistic partners and a newly formed Artistic Ambition and Excellence Group (with support from a key board member with responsibility for concerts activity).</li>
<li>Develop and lead on all long-term artistic ideas and projects. Deliver an innovative Manchester season of c.8-10 concerts per year and 40+ commercial engagements locally, nationally, and internationally that support the strategy.</li>
<li>Support the CEO to maintain and develop the wider organisational Strategic Plan.</li>
</ul>
 
Key strategic relationships
<ul>
<li>Take an active role in Manchester Camerata’s external relations, building networks, represent the orchestra at forums, conferences, and other industry events and advocate for positive change in the sector.</li>
<li>Lead on the continued development of a broad network of promoters, touring relationships, agents, venues and festivals in the UK and internationally in support of the artistic strategy.</li>
<li>Lead the relationship with the Musicians’ Union and negotiations about the terms of our in-house agreement, annual pay deals and UK and International work.</li>
<li>Ensure a good working relationship and regular comms with the MU steward, players committee and wider membership regarding future artistic plans, engagements and our in house MU agreement.</li>
</ul>
 
Management, development, and finances
<ul>
<li>Support the CEO and fundraising function with specific content for grant applications and reports to trusts and foundations and public sector funders.</li>
<li>Actively engage with the overall organisation’s work in a senior leadership role</li>
<li>Ensure close working relations with all other members of the Senior Management Team (Heads of Community, Marketing &amp; Comms, Fundraising and Finance teams).</li>
<li>Report to the Board of Trustees with high quality papers on the artistic strategy, KPIs, concerts work, finances and engagements forecast.</li>
<li>Take responsibility for delivering an agreed and ambitious income target for engaged work and creating and monitoring budgets for all concerts activity.</li>
<li>Manage the Concerts team and freelance staff, ensuring smooth delivery of all activity.</li>
<li>Oversee the calculation and authorisation of the monthly player payments system in conjunction with the Finance Manager and Orchestra Personnel Manager.</li>
<li>Negotiate all fees and deals with artists, venues and promotors, and draw up contracts with support from the Projects and Concerts Manager (a vacant role, to be appointed once you are in post).</li>

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Digital Partnerships Manager to join our growing ITV Commercial team on a permanent basis in London. 
Our vision is to be More than TV, building upon ITV’s unique and winning combination of creativity and commercial strength, driven by investment in data and technology.  Our ITV Commercial team is responsible for bringing in the £1.9bn worth of advertising that helps fund ITV's programming.  
However, our Commercial team isn’t just about advertising sales jobs, we also have ITV Creative Partnerships who are responsible for building brand activations around ITV programmes and channels using TV sponsorships, secondary programme partnerships, content, product placement and digital integrations to build advertising campaigns for ITV’s clients. We are looking for a Digital Partnership Manager to join our Creative Partnerships team.
ITV is adapting its strategy to reflect the dynamic, global market for TV by being a digitally led entertainment and media company that creates and brings brilliant content to audiences, wherever, whenever and however they choose. 
This is a brand new role within the Creative Partnerships team, and will highlight the importance of digital within ITV’s long-term strategy. We are looking for a curious, pro-active digital &amp; social media expert to deliver innovation led projects built on viewer and consumer behaviour, client objectives and outcomes through our social media platforms.
As Digital Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for  activating and leading ITV’s partnership activity across social media whilst also supporting the wider Creative Partnership and Sales teams in responding to briefs.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the day to day relationship management with Social platforms and internal stakeholders. </li>
<li>Apply strong client-facing skills including  the ability to tell a story with data that proves the value of partnering with ITV through social platforms.</li>
<li>Work alongside colleagues to pitch individual shows and digital opportunities to external clients &amp; agencies in tandem with the Commercial Sales Team.</li>
<li>Produce digital partnership sales material, sometimes in its entirety and sometimes with supporting team/s, always at market leading standards. </li>
<li>Provide reports that highlight campaign performance and identify opportunities for the future.</li>
<li>Work closely and collaboratively to ensure that the maximum commercial opportunity is scoped and created.</li>
<li>Liaise with internal contacts at all levels of seniority within the organisation &amp; external stakeholders (agencies etc).</li>
<li>Regularly present the Social opportunities available to the Commercial Sales Team.</li>
<li>Ensure that the Commercial Sales Team is kept fully abreast of any changes to the digital opportunities.</li>
<li>Maintain a collaborative working relationship with key ITV stakeholders.</li>
<li>Successfully account manage the relationship with ITV and Social platforms.</li>
<li>Act as the Commercial Team’s Social Champion.</li>
</ul>
 
 
Knowledge, skills, experience
Minimum criteria
<ul>
<li>Strong digital experience ideally from a broadcast or agency background with expertise in social and other digital channels.</li>
<li>Demonstrable solid experience in managing stakeholders and executing exciting new digital opportunities. </li>
<li>Proven experience in building and maintaining commercial relationships with agency contacts and clients.</li>
<li>Experience of writing and delivering compelling sales presentations to agency planners and clients.</li>
</ul>

Digital partnerships manager (social media)

We are looking for an experienced individual to manage our artist development programme. Could it be you?
MAST is a multi-art form venue presenting and producing theatre, dance, music, comedy, spoken word and family shows. We work with the best touring companies and local artists to present a diverse, vibrant, high-quality artistic programme, alongside our own MAST productions and co-productions. 
 
In particular, you will:
