Do you have the drive and ambition to work, learn and progress alongside an agent with an exciting and developing list?
We are currently looking for a full-time assistant to work with an agent within our actors and comedy departments. You will be supporting an agent who works with award winning actors, writers, directors and multi-hyphenate talent including writer-performers and comedians. This is a busy office working with both high profile and emerging talent.
Fantastic communication skills, excellent organisation, meticulous attention to detail, the motivation to work hard and an ability to be proactive and multi-task are of key importance.
Responsibilities:
- Handling a high volume of emails and calls in a calm and professional manner
- Organising auditions / meetings / client self-tapes
- Submitting clients via Spotlight and on email
- Script reading on behalf of and alongside agent/clients
- Collating client material, putting together showreels
- Ensuring client CV’s are up to date
- Going to see clients and potential clients in their live work and screenings
- Processing contracts, issuing invoices and keeping track of monies
- Organising travel and accommodation for clients and agent
- Providing full administrative support to the agent
- Liaising with US agents and managers on clients that have US representation
- Diary management for the agent, office and clients - which is often complicated in nature as most clients work across more than one discipline
Knowledge, skills, experience
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Trustworthy and accurate as you will be dealing with confidential and sometimes sensitive situations. The ability to demonstrate discretion, thoughtfulness and good judgement is key
- A strong capability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritise accordingly with tight deadlines
- A strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities
- A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Determined and calm under pressure
- A passion for film, television, theatre and comedy
- Previous industry experience required
