Administrator
Closing date: 12 noon on 4th July 2022
Salary: £22,887 per annum
Want to play a key part in providing solid administrative support to the V&A Academy?
V&A Academy is a school of creativity. We put on courses, workshops and events for a wide range of adult audiences, online and in-person. Our administrator provides three main forms of support: technical and administrative support for our online students, helping everyone feel comfortable with Microsoft Teams and get the most out of their learning experience; technical support for speakers on courses, providing training on lecturing online, and helping out with AV and IT for in-person events; day-to-day administrative support for the team, collecting and analysing feedback and usage data, logging sales, creating new user accounts and lots of general wizardry like mail-merging or using Flows and Power Automate to solve problems for the teams.
Responsibilities
- Supporting our learners: creating new user accounts, changing user passwords, providing technical assistance to learners, helping them to log in, and get the most out of their learning environment
- Supporting our speakers: providing technical guidance and Microsoft Teams training to our speakers and practitioners; issuing booking confirmation memos
- Supporting our producers: creating and provisioning course Teams to spec; adding and removing users from O365 groups; keeping our CRM records beautifully clean; managing MS365 licenses; recording sales and learner engagement data; monthly KPI reporting
- Supporting the team: updating user guidelines, documentation and FAQs; keeping up-to-date with software changes, including security updates
- Other administrative duties, such as raising and chasing payments
- Not being afraid to spot a process that isn’t working right and suggesting ways to fix it
The museum’s five values of generosity, collaboration, sustainability, equity, and creativity shape our everyday professional practice and behaviours and the post holder will be expected to demonstrate these values in how they work. We particularly welcome applications from disabled and global majority candidates as people from global majority backgrounds and disabled people are currently under-represented throughout the V&A.
Please state in your application that you found this role through Creative Access.
